Putting together this round-up of both new and older recipes from my site has been a joy, and even a bit nostalgic. It's amazing to think I've been writing recipes for over 14 years! Looking back at those early creations brings back so many memories. I've updated them over time with new photos, tips, and instructions, but they still hold a special place in my heart.

This summer recipe collection will be updated regularly with fresh ideas alongside the classics. I'm starting with over 50 recipes, hence the name "50+ Summer Special Recipe Collection." Who knows, maybe I'll even reach 100 recipes in this collection someday!

Wishing you a happy summer!

Frequently Asked Questions

How to stay healthy in summer?

Want to feel great all summer long? Keep cool by wearing light, loose clothes and staying hydrated with plenty of water and refreshing fruit juices. Try to limit your time in direct sunlight. During hot spells, be sure to drink even more water and eat water-rich fruits and vegetables. Boost your energy levels with seasonal fruits like watermelon, musk melon, and berries, along with fresh salads and yogurt. It's best to avoid spicy and fried foods, as they can raise your body temperature and lead to dehydration.

Do food choices change from country to country during the summer?

Absolutely! What people eat is influenced by the climate, the local environment, and what ingredients are easily available. Some foods are much easier to prepare in certain countries than in others.

Is this collection of summer recipes just focused on Bengali cuisine?

No, not at all! While my blog does focus on Bengali cooking, this collection includes summer-friendly recipes from all over India and even some international dishes. However, because of my emphasis on Bengali cuisine, there's still a large selection of Bengali summer recipes to enjoy.

50+ Summer Recipe Ideas

Beat the heat this summer with these simple and delicious recipes! Stay refreshed with flavorful fruit drinks, creamy yogurt desserts, and dishes featuring the best seasonal vegetables. Specially designed for hot weather, these light, mildly seasoned, and hydrating recipes are perfect for staying cool. Try making your own fruity popsicles, blend a refreshing watermelon smoothie, or whip up a tasty salad with fresh summer veggies. These treats will make staying indoors this summer a more pleasant experience!
