It all started on Shoshthi, when I was at the movies with a friend. My husband texted, asking if I'd ordered something from Tupperware. He described it strangely as "a red bowl with some sticks." When I got home, I discovered this "red bowl with some sticks" was actually a manual whisking kitchen tool from Tupperware, called the Ultimo Series Speedy Chef, sent to me for review. The product has a suggested retail price of INR 3800, but Tupperware is currently offering a discount of INR 500.

The Speedy Chef is the complete whipping and whisking kitchen aid. It can be used for beating, whipping and whisking cream, egg whites, batter for the omelet, pancake batter, and mayonnaise etc. quieter than an electrical beater.

My experience

I've been using it for about ten days now, and it's surprisingly versatile. It's great for whipping cream to decorate cakes and desserts, and perfect for making desserts like mousse, or pancake and omelet batter that needs whisking. You can even use it to prepare homemade mayonnaise or delicious dips. Plus, it's a fantastic way to make cake batter, Pavlova, and Meringue by perfectly beating egg whites.

For my final test, I decided to make meringue, which needs a lot of whipping at just the right speed. The Tupperware Ultimo Series Speedy Chef helped me achieve those perfect stiff peaks! I also used it countless times to make omelet batter, and I didn't even realize how much I was starting to enjoy using it. The simple design made it a pleasure to use every single time. It's incredibly easy to operate and even easier to clean. I also have to mention that the Tupperware Ultimo Series Speedy Chef is completely safe for kids! My little one loves blending eggs with it.

I found the product worth using in terms of the end products, hassle-free usage, easily wasAfter using it, I believe this product is worth it because of the wonderful results, easy use, simple clean-up, quiet operation, and kid-friendly design. While the Tupperware Ultimo Series Speedy Chef isn't the cheapest option compared to electric beaters, I've found it to be a worthwhile investment. It's perfect when I don't need to mix large quantities, when I want to get my toddler involved, or if my electric beater is out of commission.

Ingredients

  • 8 Egg
  • 100 ml Light Cream
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Potato
  • ½ Bell Pepper
  • 100 g Mushroom
  • 50 g Cheddar Cheese
  • 50 g Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Butter/ Olive Oil

Instructions

  • First, peel and dice the potatoes and red bell pepper into small, even cubes.
  • Next, grate both the cheddar and mozzarella cheese and set them aside.
  • In a deep-bottomed pan, heat some butter or olive oil over low heat.
  • Gently fry the diced potatoes until they turn a light golden brown.
  • Remove the potatoes from the pan and set them aside.
  • Using the remaining butter or olive oil, sauté the onions until softened.
  • Then, add the chopped bell pepper and mushrooms, cooking for about two minutes, or until the moisture from the mushrooms has evaporated.
  • Season the vegetables with salt and black pepper powder, then remove the pan from the heat.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs (which should be at room temperature) until they become light and frothy.
  • Add a pinch of salt and black pepper powder, mixing again. Stir in the cream until well combined.
  • Return the pan with the vegetables to the heat and add the fried potatoes. Mix well.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the vegetables, and gently stir with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese over the mixture and continue to mix everything together until the eggs set and the mixture becomes nicely crumbly.
  • Finally, turn off the heat and serve your veggie-loaded scrambled eggs hot, right from the pan.
