The state capital of Karnataka, Bengaluru aka Bangalore is known as one of the smart cities in India. Bengaluru was founded during the Vijayanagara Empire. India's IT capital Bengaluru is known as the silicon valley of India as well. With all these unique characters Bangalore for sure is a great tourist destination in India. Here I am listing a few things to do in Bangalore.

You may reach Bengaluru from different cities in India. If going by flight, flight from Jaipur to Bangalore, or from Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi or other major cities are also available. Apart from that, Bengaluru is well-connected by road and train.

Stay in Bangalore:

The city is having several staying options including star properties, boutique hotels, budget hotels, homestays. All you have to do is to book as per your budget.

Things to do in Bangalore:

Cubbon Park:
One of the must-visit places in Bengaluru is Cubbon Park. This park is having India's second-largest Aquarium as well. Cubbon Park was named after Lord Cubbon. This park is a perfect destination within the silicon valley if you are a nature lover.
Bangalore Palace:
One of the famous palaces in the Sothern part of the country is Bangalore palace. Mysore Royal family own this palace. The Palace was founded in the year 1878. The architecture is beautiful.
Lal Bagh:
Lal Bagh is the botanical garden of Bangalore. Haydar Ali initiated constructing this. This was completed during the regime of Tipu Sultan back in 1760. This is one of the main tourist destinations in Bengaluru.
National Park:
This place is perfect if you are looking for a safari in Bengaluru and looking for watching Lions! Bangalore National Park is India's first Butterfly Park as well.
Ulsoor Lake:
If you are planning for boating, Ulsoor lake is must visit in Bengaluru.
Nandi Hills:
You must not miss Nandi Hills if you love the scenic beauty. Nandi Hills is located in the outskirt.
Film City:
To witness the amazing wor of the southern Film industry, film city is another great destination to try in Bengaluru.
Places for Shopping in Bengaluru:

 

The city is having several shopping malls, however, must-visit is the silk saree shops and Bangalore Silk saree is a must purchase if you are in Bangalore.
Places to eat in Bengaluru:

Amongst several eateries MTR tiffin room, Lakeview milk bar, Unicorn etc are famous. Vidyarthi Bhawan is a must-visit as well.
