  2. %Making of Kashmiri Pink Tea
  3. Take Coldwater and Ice Cubes in a deep bottom vessel.
  4. Start boiling the water along with Kashmiri Green Tea (Kahwa), Green Cardamom, Cinnamon Stick, and Star Anise.
  5. Boil until the water reduces to ⅓ of the same in slow flame. It will take around 30 minutes.

  7. Stir using a spoon and bring it to boil again.
  8. Now add Milk and boil for around 5-6 minutes in low flame.
  9. Now add Sugar and boil for 1 minute until sugar dissolves completely.
  10. Switch the flame off and strain the tea using a strainer.
  11. The Tea should have a light pink color.
  12. Pour the tea into the desired cup and top it with chopped Pistachios and Almond and serve hot.
Notes
The more you boil the tea with Baking Soda the more chance of getting the desired color. if possible take around 1-liter water and reduce it to 250 ml by boiling with Baking Soda and Kahwa Tea leaves. I though have boiled ½ lit water for 30 minutes and the result was satisfactory.
Adding Sugar is optional. The authentic version does not contain sugar.
