- Chickpea/ Kabuli Chana: 2 cup
- Tahini : 1 Cup
- Red Bell Pepper: 1
- Garlic: 7-8 clove
- Lemon Juice: 2 Tbsp.
- Paprika: 1 Tsp.
- Black Pepper: 1/2 Tsp.
- Olive Oil: 1/2 cup
- Salt: 1 Tsp.
Instructions
- Soak Chickpeas overnight or for 4-5 hours in plain water along with ½ Tsp. Salt.
- Take soaked Chickpeas in a pressure Cooker and add water and the boil till 4 whistles comes from the cooker. Let the cooker cooled completely and then remove the lid and strain the water.
- Deseed the Red Bell Pepper and Roast it on medium flame for around 5 minutes or till it turn soft and then let the pepper cool.
- Remove the skin completely from the pepper.
- Now take Boiled Chickpeas, Roasted Bell Pepper, Tahini , Garlic, Lemon Juice, half of the Paprika, Black Pepper, Olive Oil and ½ Tsp. Salt in a food processor and make a smooth paste. You may add some more oil and little water in the paste.
